The cabinet's actual width is 36", however, for proper installation the cabinet will take up a minimum of 39" of wall space, and may be pulled off the wall to take up a maximum of 42" of wall space. When ordering this cabinet RTA, the door/drawer are reversible and can be assembled as desired. The door and drawer width of this cabinet is 11 9/16".
